The Chilean National Center for Artificial Intelligence (Cenia) is an independent research center funded by the Chilean government and private institutions, located in Santiago, Chile. The Center was founded by four of the main national universities: PUC, U. de Chile, UTFSM, and UAI, with a mission to be at the forefront of scientific and technological innovation in AI, serving as a core component of the Chilean National Policy for AI.
As part of its development plan, Cenia invites applicants to apply for a research position at the level of Associate Researcher. This position involves conducting advanced research in AI and supporting the Center’s efforts in technological transfer to the industry. Main areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: visual recognition, NLP, reinforcement learning, self-supervision, metalearning, AI-based large-scale optimization, AI-based simulations, and cognitive robotics.
Eligibility Criteria
Young researchers with a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Cognitive Robotics, or related areas. Given our commitment to promoting gender equality, we especially welcome applications from female candidates.
