The second version of the international workshop “When deep learning meets logic”, a virtual event sponsored by Samsung Research, a pioneer in presenting both foundational and practical research in the area of neuro-symbolic artificial intelligence, will be held from June 6 to 8. Pablo Barceló and Leopoldo Bertossi, Cenia researchers and leaders of the research line dedicated to neuro-symbolic AI (RL2), will deliver presentations at this meeting.
The first edition of the workshop was attended by more than 1,000 participants from prestigious centers including MIT, Google, IBM, Microsoft and the universities of Oxford and Cambridge. In addition, two outstanding researchers gave presentations: Leslie Valiant, professor at Harvard University, known for his studies on the theory of computation and winner of the Turing Award (2010), and Christos Papadimitriou, academic at Columbia University (USA) and author of Computational Complexity, one of the most widely used and referenced books in the field of computational complexity theory.
